A Next.js web app that replaces an Excel inventory workbook: track hardware, software licences, computer sets, owners, locations and every move, with search, dashboards and Excel export. Screenshots use fictional demo data.

- Hardware register with serial, asset tag, OS, warranty dates and status: in stock, assigned, in repair or retired.
- Assemblies group a computer, monitor, keyboard and mouse into one set for an owner and location.
- Software licences by type with seats in use versus purchased, plus expiry alerts.
- Move history records every location and owner change with date, note and who made it.
- Global search, filters, and one-click export to Excel and CSV.
- Login required for every page and action, with hashed passwords and rate-limited sign-in.
